The Urinary System consists of the Kidneys, Bladder, Ureter (Tubes that carry Urine from the Kidneys to the Bladder), and Urethra (Tube that carries Urine from the Bladder to the Urethral Opening). The most common problems associated with the Urinary Tract are due to infections, usually caused by bacteria that get into the opening of the Urethra and spread throughout the entire tract.
Some symptoms of Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) include:
-Frequent urge to urinate
-Passing only small amounts of urine
-Burning, painful feeling when urinating
-Urine may be cloudy, bright yellow, even red in color
Usually the infection is located in the Bladder, but can spread to the Kidneys if untreated.
Signs the infection may have spread to the Kidneys include:
-Pain in the abdomen, low back, or side
-Chills
-Fever
-Nausea or vomiting
If you believe the infection has spread to the Kidneys, seek medical attention as soon as possible.
UTI’s are quite treatable with natural therapies. Some recommended all natural health supplements include:
